Yajuan (Susan) Liu, a certified public accountant and principal at Hongxin Wealth & Tax Planning Group, was named by Chinese Radio Seattle Entrepreneur of the Year.

Liu, who lives in Bellevue, received the award at Chinese Radio Seattle’s 10th-anniversary event at Bellevue’s Hilton Hotel last month. The honor comes seven years after the organization gave Liu a Community Contribution Award for “inspiring and empowering others to follow her example of giving back to the community,” a release said. 

Liu’s 2022 award specifically looks to highlight her career as a CPA and business owner. Before Liu began working with Hongxin Wealth & Tax Planning Group, where she provides international tax planning and tax compliance services to Chinese investors, green card holders, and U.S. citizens, she spent eight years at Microsoft and two years at Merrill Lynch as a financial advisor, a release said.
