Schuylkill Technology Center inducted students into its 30th Annual National Technical Honor Society Induction Ceremony on May 12. The society promotes the ideal of honesty, service, leadership, career development and skilled workmanship among vocational technical students while rewarding meritorious achievement in vocational education. The secondary goals are to encourage the pursuit and awareness of career and technical education.

The following area students were inducted:

Marketing and business administration: Tabitha Karpovich, Schuylkill Haven.

Carpentry: Amber Boyer, Schuylkill Haven.

Computer information systems: Nicholas Maladonado and Evan Miller, Schuylkill Haven, computer information systems.

Criminal justice: Kaitlyn Riegel, Blue Mountain.

Cosmetology: Eliza Krebs and Kiera Miller, Blue Mountain.

Culinary: Maddisyn Behney. Tri Valley, Jared Schwenk, Blue Mountain.

Electro-mechanical technology: Brody Lasko, Blue Mountain; Makenna Spalti, Tri Valley.

Emerging health: Kelsey Christianson and Bethany Kaplinsky, Williams Valley; Marissa Fridirici and Olivia Lang, Schuylkill Haven; Sydney Schley, Tri-Valley; Emily Seaman and Allyson Weachock, Blue Mountain.
