The 6th edition of Katara International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition (S’hail 2022) has given a young Qatari entrepreneur a better platform to reach out to more business opportunities in the field. Nasser Abdulla Muftah, who has fostered a practical passion for veterinary and microbiology over the years, has enriched his knowledge through extensive reading and with the help of specialists and experts, introduced a number of new formulas to treat different diseases of falcons.
“This field fascinated me and I spend most of my time caring about animals and birds, and reading and experimenting in the microbiology-related fields while benefiting from the expertise and knowledge of veterinarians and specialists. Accordingly, I decided to start a new business that offers comprehensive services to the falconers and falcon owners,” he said.
“The formulas I have created have proven highly effective for many falcon diseases including endoparasites, candidiasis, bumblefoot, liver diseases, and aspergillosis. These have been carefully made from both natural substances and chemicals with multiple successful trials until approved for treatment of falcons,” he said.
The young Qatari said that the artificial breeding of falcons, interbreeding and living in other than their natural habitats have introduced various diseases that required more innovations in treatment. Accordingly, he collaborated with specialists to find out the suitable treatments for such ailments and give falcons better care locally as falconry is considered one of the main features of the most loved heritage of the region and young people highly value their falcons.
Abdulla noted that participation at S’hail has opened many doors for him and given him a better perspective to further develop his business and knowledge as it is considered as an international platform for the exchange of experience among world experts in the field. Qatari businesses in the field can provide high-quality services to the local market, on par with the international service providers.
