A seminar titled ‘Usage of Technology in Upgrading Administration’ on Sunday at the National Museum of Science and Technology on Sunday.
Mohammad Munir Chowdhury, director general of the science museum presided over the seminar in the museum auditorium, said a press release.
Officials from various government and private institutions participated in the event organised for them at the initiative of the Bangladesh Institute of Governance and Management.
On the occasion, Munir Chowdhury said, ‘The application of technology is a mark of good governance. But the integrity and skill of the person behind the technology is very important. Young officers should come forward to stop corruption and harassment.’
At the seminar, Roksana Khan, deputy secretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Major Mohammad Yusuf Sharif of the Bangladesh Army presented papers to the trainees.
After the programme, the trainees visited the galleries of the museum. Besides, the trainees were given gifts by the science museum.
