Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Chinese automaker Lifan Technology (Group) Co., Ltd. (“Lifan Technology”) announced on Wednesday that it sold 4,936 vehicles in June 2022, 3,126 units of which were new energy vehicles (“NEVs”).
In the same month, the automaker saw its production volume skyrocket 7,801.67% year on year to 4,741 units, which included 1,473 NEVs (+2,355% YoY).
Compared to the previous month, Lifan Technology’s auto output and sales in June jumped 55.38% and 29.23% respectively.
For the first half of 2022, the automaker saw its cumulative production volume rocket 5,815.82% year on year to 10,471 units, while its year-to-date auto sales also zoomed up 15,398.23% to 17,513 units.

Notably, the company’s Jan.-Jun. NEV output and sales shot up 2,018.79% and 11,626.17% from the year-ago period to 3,496 units and 12,547 units respectively.
For clarity, the NEV sales reported by the company consisted of the sales volumes of the vehicles produced and sold by Lifan Technology, Zhejiang Geely Automobile Company Limited, and Zhejiang Haoqing Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
In 2022, Lifan Technology plans to roll out two new modular automobile platforms with high scalability, promote the applications of battery swapping technology standards in pilot cities, and boost the development of technologies related to power batteries, intelligent driving, intelligent cockpit, energy flow simulation, and heat pump, the automaker said in its annual financial results of 2021.
In terms of launch of new products, the company plans to roll out such models as the 60S, the X3 Pro, the 80X, and the NS11 this year.
