SALISBURY, Md.- A 20-year-old Salisbury entrepreneur is taking his talents to the TV screen once again, as he’ll be featured on the QVC network this week.

For those who aren’t familiar, we’ve been following RJ Batts journey since 2016 when he launched Tip Tough.

It’s a stainless-steel device that covers your fingers to avoid cutting yourself while slicing food.

Last fall, Batts received national acclaim after winning the show ‘Americas Big Deal.’

He tells 47ABC having the opportunity to now showcase his work on QVC has been a dream since he was 13 years old. “It takes a lot of hard work, a lot of dedication, a lot of long days and long nights. To see it all finally starting to come together and to get on a bigger platform is just astonishing to me,” Batts said.

“There’s so many different things to do in business and that’s what keeps me going. It’s an endless stream and I can continue to go and not have to worry about if someone has already done this or that. I can pave my way.”

Batts tells us a plastic version of his product is still in the works.

You can catch him on ‘In the Kitchen with David’ on QVC Wednesday, October 25th at 8 p.m.
