Last year, there was an article written about Brandi Rhodes and her underrated passion for wrestling. During that time, Brandi made her return to AEW and showed improvement in the ring while racking up victories on AEW Dark.
Unfortunately, her time came to an end in AEW in the midst of that great improvement. It left a lot of questions about where Brandi would go from there. Those questions were soon answered and it left a lot to think about for her future in wrestling.
Brandi Rhodes’s amazing crossover from wrestling to entertainment.
When the dust settled for Cody’s return to WWE, the focus shifted to Brandi. She is a success story in wrestling, and it was obvious that her story was far from over. All of us silently kept a close eye on Brandi’s activity and wondered about her next move.
Would she show up by Cody’s side? Would she continue her YouTube show? Would she wrestle elsewhere? Does she have other endeavors in mind? A whole lot of questions with virtually no answers at the time, it was time to ask some questions.
Brandi took time out of her busy schedule to answer those questions. The conversations with Brandi were cryptic initially, and not even a few weeks later, Brandi announced that her YouTube show A Shot of Brandi would be taken to another level on television.
The announcement brought joy since Brandi took such pride in making her YouTube show different than any other show seen anywhere. It was also very clear that Brandi will be doing just fine with all the changes that have happened in the last few months.
When talking about the talent that crossover, there have been names mentioned like Sasha Banks, Jade Cargill, and Bianca Belair. Brandi has been underestimated consistently throughout her career and she has proven once again that she is truly a force in wrestling and entertainment.
Even though it was great news and the hype for Brandi’s show going up is yet another chapter in her illustrious rise, there still were a lot of questions. Anyone who read the previous article knows the feeling about Brandi’s underrated passion for wrestling.
She went from announcer for one wrestling company to a chief brand officer in AEW. With those credentials under her belt and a non-comparable success story. It became hard to imagine her wrestling career potentially coming to an end.
Brandi Rhodes and her status in wrestling.
This led to an interesting conversation with Brandi herself questioning her about her status as a wrestler and what’s in store for the future. Brandi’s response was that she is in it for the long haul with her new career direction, however, it has not stopped her from putting time in the ring.
Even though she has moved up in the entertainment world, and still makes it a priority to put in-ring time. She puts in the work with no cameras, titles, rankings, or crowd, thus showing that her passion runs deeper than anyone could ever imagine.
Brandi did not give a direct answer about if she will return to the ring in the near future. It all makes sense since she has a lot on her plate as she adds a new chapter in her career. No one knows about Brandi’s future in wrestling, she is the author of the story and all of us will just have to wait and see.
Overall, the conversation with Brandi really showed her in a different light than initially thought. Sometimes when there is a milestone in other endeavors with a wrestler crossing over, they leave it in the ring and give full focus to their new career, but that’s not the case for Brandi.
No matter what happens next, when watching her show, that question will always be in the back of our minds. She’s so passionate that even with her new endeavors, she still has kept wrestling in her life by stepping in the ring on her own time.
Brandi is just getting started and her rise continues in a new way. People won’t want to miss any of it as Brandi continues A shot of Brandi in a new way. For everything Brandi has accomplished and will accomplish in the future, all of us wish her nothing but success as she continues her rise in entertainment.
