Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez co-hosted his podcast along with the famous podcaster Big Cat. They interviewed accomplished personalities from different professional backgrounds. ‘A-Rod’ once invited Barbara Corcoran to the podcast.
Barbara is a businesswoman and an entrepreneur who founded the real estate brokerage company, The Corcoran Group. With a massive net worth of $100 million, she has been an investor in the reality series, titled, ‘Shark Tank’. Interestingly, ‘A-Rod’ also happened to be a famous guest host on the show.
Speaking to ‘A-Rod’ on the podcast about her choice of the perfect entrepreneur, Barbara said, “Always the same qualities. I always look for someone who can sell. Because if the leader of anything can’t sell, then they usually can’t build, that comes together. I also look for high energy. I find the people that don’t have high energy popping out of their skin, they generally don’t have the energy and drive that is going to take to build a business.”

Barbara added saying, “I look for someone who’s naturally competitive. And a poor loser, not a good loser. I mean, they might be gracious with their words, but they hate losing. I hated losing anything. I would compete with people that weren’t even my competitors. Just because I didn’t want them to be better than me.”
Rodriguez turned into an entrepreneur after his farewell to the ballpark
‘A-Rod’ hung up his baseball spikes in 2016 and set up his entrepreneurial empire, ‘A-Rod Corp’. Since then, he has constantly involved himself in numerous ventures that have seen tremendous success over the years. He is the chairman of Presidente Beer and is a co-owner of the NBA franchise, the Minnesota Timberwolves.
