Fulcrum, the leading independent net-zero focused multi-utility infrastructure and services provider, has expanded its national EV Charging Team with new Project Engineers.
Its team of Project Engineers has been bolstered by the addition of Florence Ugwu who joins the company from its Group business, Dunamis, and by established EV specialist, Sé Youhill.
Florence will be responsible for the south of England and Sé responsible for the North. Both will work alongside Tom Cunningham, who leads the central region of England.
Florence brings more than ten years’ project management experience to the role having worked in the construction, oil & gas and utilities industries. While at Dunamis, which is an independent electrical connections provider with a specialism in complex high voltage projects, she worked as a Technical Project Coordinator for major projects.
Sé Youhill has a strong background in the EV industry, particularly DC charging and infrastructure. As an experienced electrician, Sé was previously Operations Manager at an EV business that specialised in domestic installations and has been keen to expand into the commercial sector, which is his focus as Project Engineer at Fulcrum.
Tom has been successfully delivering a variety of EV charging projects for over two years at Fulcrum, building upon more than two decades of Distribution Network Operator (DNO) experience as a time served Electrician and Power Distribution Technician up to Senior Authorised Person (SAP) level.
For the past nine years he has worked in the independent DNO sector installing commercial and domestic utilities infrastructure from grid to meter.
The Project Engineers are responsible for supporting customers during the end-to-end EV Charging process, from initial surveys through to design and project delivery.
The Sheffield-based company, which delivers energy infrastructure to power the UK’s net-zero future, including the EV charging network, has an established track record of designing, constructing, and installing futureproofed electrical infrastructure that powers EV charging stations and networks.
Fulcrum’s EV charging team provide a comprehensive service that also includes design and installation of high voltage infrastructure, energisation and the installation of charging hardware and software.
Our Project Engineers work incredibly closely with customers to deliver EV charging solutions, so I am very pleased we have brought together this trio of highly experienced people who have expertise in the delivery of all complexities of electrical infrastructure projects.
Florence, Tom and Sé are key members of the growing EV team that is dedicated to supporting the UK’s journey to net-zero. The team will support the roll out of a UK-wide EV charging network that will both enable the greater adoption of electric vehicles and ultimately have a positive impact on our environment.
