Adani dropped out of college in 2 year as he always wanted to start his own business, as coming from a poor background and one out of 7 siblings was not at all an easy life decisions to make for him,, but he dared to do it, after dropping out of college he went to Mumbai to gain experience and he worked as a diamond sorter for 2-3 years, by working there he gained a bit of knowledge that how a business is run. 

His fast learning skills helped him to set up his 1st small business of Diamond brokerage, he got much more success when his brother called him back to Ahmedabad to  work for a plastic factory which was started by his brother.

Adani founded his Adani Group in 1988, but his company initially traded with agricultural products and power but his business diversified under his guidance in 1991and started concentrating more on the power generation and transmission, gas distribution and many more businesses.
