Vadodara: Five teams of students pitched their start-up ideas to the alumni of MS University during PitchFest under Incubator 2.0 that was recently held online.
Alumni from the US, Canada, Singapore and other countries participated in the event organized under the banner of MSU Vision 2020, an initiative supported by the Office of Alumni Affairs and Donor Relations (OAADR).
A total of 25 teams had registered and five of them made their products, raising Rs 50,000 funding for the initial stage of launch. Best pitch will receive Rs 1 lakh fund from the alumni network.
“PitchFest plays a vital role in entrepreneurship, to raise initial venture funds by the network of alumni nurturing bond of excellence with students and university,” said professor Sanskriti Majumdar from OAADR.
