HanmiGlobal announced on July 12 that it has taken over Walker Sime, a British project management (PM) company.
Founded in 1999 in Manchester, northeastern England, Walker Sime provides specialized services such as construction project management, cost management, and architectural design management, and its staff includes experts in diverse fields of the construction business.
HanmiGlobal became the largest shareholder of Walker Sime by purchasing a 92.5 percent stake in it through its British subsidiary. It plans to provide professional technology and services to global customers by actively utilizing Walker Sime’s excellent human resources and technology.
Earlier, HanmiGlobal acquired K2, another British PM company, in 2019. It established Turner & Townsend Korea in 2010 in collaboration with Turner & Townsend, a global cost management company. HanmiGlobal plans to expand its business in the United Kingdom and accelerate its entry into Europe by sharing customers and expanding services with Walker Sime.
