Avison Young has welcomed Chris Jankins has joined the firm’s Boston office as principal and director, project management, science and technology services.

Jankins has focused on biotechnology and life sciences throughout most of his 30-year career in construction and project management with experience in including pre-construction and commissioning, contract negotiation and management, construction management, building information modeling and process.

Prior to joining Avison Young, Jankins served as a project director at Hereva. He also held Director positions at J. Calnan & Associates, Siena Construction and Kirkland Construction. “Chris’ knowledge and insight will strengthen our service offerings in Boston and New England’s critical life sciences sector, where many of the largest employers in our market touch a wide swath of real estate, from research space to universities, teaching hospitals and highly specialized manufacturing,” said Tom Collins, principal and managing director of Avison Young’s New England region.
