The downside of social media is well known. It is seen in how it is used. And it is seen in the business models which allow it to run. Loren Ruster describes this as harming human dignity. In her PhD Loren Ruster is working with entrepreneurs to instil in them the idea of technology with dignity, so it underpins everything they do and so they develop technology without the downside.
